James Squire Copper Ale

As an Englishman, I was immediately drawn to Copper Ale. It’s described as being an English style ale and is not as strong as other James Squire offerings at 3.4%. ‘The Constable’ Copper AleĀ ranks it in the mid-strength category and to be honest, the flavour benefits from this. It’s malty, hoppy and deliciously smooth. It reminds me of many local ales from back in the UK which are traditionally this strength anyway. Certainly worth trying if you like the English style of beer (warm or cold!)
