Remember when you had the coopers red sparkling Ale and you would roll the bottle before opening it to mix all the sediment from the bottom? Do people still do it? Well, if Dr Tim’s Traditional Alewas in a bottle you’d want to do it to this, in fact it is recommended that you do roll the can. This is a cloudy Ale but it’s flavour is clear, refreshing and delicious. It’s a lager style beer with a bit more of a tang to it. I like it in the can too, gives it that old school feel.
Dr Tim’s doesn’t taste anything like the Coopers beers I’ve had in the past, but I like it. Don’t be put off by how cloudy it is when you pour it into the glass. Embrace how ‘rustic’ it looks, enjoy the flavour, and then have another one!
