I’ll be honest, buying Christmas presents for me is a nightmare. I never know what I want. So, over the next few weeks I’m throwing out some suggestions that you can give your loved ones if they are still scratching their heads about what to get for you.
This one is pretty special, a watch, that doesn’t break the bank, but looks really really cool. It also works really well if, like me, you have thin wrists and the big bulky metallic watches look MASSIVE on you. So I introduced to you Apache Pine.
Started in America’s Pacific North West in 2014 by Jordan Duran and 3 of his friends, Apache Pine represents a token of nature which, no matter where you are; city, country, far from home… you would have a piece of nature to take with you. Borne from the idea that we are all unique, as are Apache Pine timepieces, knives and sunglasses (long term work in progress) with their wooden components and individual wood grains. So Jordan & the AP family set to work designing their first watch – The Original. This was followed by the release of the Ridge and Sqwatch in 2015.
AP Australia was sparked from an Instagram conversation – a freelancer interested in a brand, that quickly became a discussion on growing an Australian market and distribution hub.
18 months later and we have grown to nearly 10K in
social media following, a steady stream of new products and avid influencers from across the country. We have more exciting projects underway and on-the-way, notably the True North Collection which is launching officially in Australia in January 2017. These are waterproof watches, with renewable nylon bands that really can go anywhere with you.

Apache Pine is a love for the outdoors and adventuring. It’s knowing that we belong to the earth, and answering the call of adventure as often as possible, big or small. We are nature lovers, just trying to bring the world a reason to stop and enjoy the world around us.
