Feral Brewery – ‘Boris’ Russian Imperial Stout is a big bad beer. It will knock your socks off, in fact it will knock your shoes and socks off. It has the potential to knock your head off. Why? It’s 9.1% and tastes every bit as strong as it sounds. The stout flavour is delicious, dark treacle hints with a smooth texture. But the alcohol hits you right after that and stays with you. If you like extra strong beers then you’ll probably like this, but for me, I can’t cope… I must be getting old!
